Hawaii

IM BACK! OMGoodness. That was the craziest time of my life. (and that would be the actress in me coming out) OK so the plane rides were terrible. If any of you doubt me then you just try taking 9 kids and 2 paranoid parents around the Portland, Salt Lake, LA airports and have a peaceful, joyous time. The best time was when mom drugged the little kids. This also happened to my cousin, Mckenna. My father drugged her on the plane ride back from Hawaii. :) Also, you know when you can feel people grumbling about you behind your back? yes well i perfected giving evil glares targeted at old people who should been mature enough to keep their mouths shut. By the way i have decided that marrying a pilot is the best course of action for me. They are extremely intelligent and have the coolest job ever. They also have a lot of responsibility. The only problem was that they are all old. Oh well a girl can dream.

Hawaii. So here is what happens. You sweat all night in your condo that has a broken AC unit and then you wake up and eat breakfast in chaos AND THEN you go sun tanning and try to tune out your nagging mother that wants you to go sight seeing. Nah! I was all about getting a tan even though you had to keep your eyes closed when you are around the pool otherwise you are in for some ugly pictures. Let me explain. You see, Hawaii (especially the big island) is where snow birds like to go. Old people who think their rotting bodies cant stand the winter. Yes them. They come to the condos and sit around the pool all day and enjoy the sun. I don't have anything against them doing this but i really must insist that the old hairy guys KEEP THEIR SHIRTS ON! Can you say nasty?
Snorkeling was great! Although when one has a well functioning imagination like me it can be scary because i was always thinking that a shark was going to swim up and bite my legs of. Its didn't happen but who knows if i had stayed in the water a moment longer....:) We went on the snorkeling cruise to Captain Cooks Cove. It was beautiful. And the captain looked like George Clooney, which was a bonus. Well, on the way back we saw so many whales. I swear! it had to be mating season because the dude whales where hitting the tales against the water like crazy waiting for the girls to see. Showoffs. We got about 20 feet away from this huge guy that was giving us quite a show. WOW! its was soo much better than any whale watching boat could have done. The captain said that that was one of the best whales shows he had ever seen. All in all it was worth all the money i could have spent on stuff.
It was a great trip and worth it. I recommend it. I have many other stories but my hands are tired and i have to go. Thanks :)

School...Ug!

And yes, i did just type Ug! Well considering that my family and i are venturing into the unknown wilderness of Hawaii for 2+ weeks, i figured i might want to get some school work done before hand. I take that back! i wish i didn't have any school work to accomplish now. I am human so i have to right to complain for a second. A STACK! of worksheets from Spanish. A project in LA, Multiple take home tests from Govt and more and several more packets from another class (forgot its name). Oh well. I will get over it.

I had a funny conversation with a friend of mine today. We were talking about our newly developed blogs and she told me that she was going to read mine. Obviously i got all excited! Well, before i begin this next bit you need to understand something about her. She and i don't always see eye to eye on political issues and others. Its a lot of fun in our Govt class but I'm not usually as blunt there as i am and will be in this blog. So...after all the excitement came i realized that i was going to have to block her from this blog. Yes it is terrible, but action needs to be taken. Consequently, i have not blocked her and cannot wait to hear what she has to say. :)

I am reading this book that is completely against my character. It is entitled, The Art of Raising Parents. Its a short read and very funny but it talks about being a better child for your parents and cutting them some slack and actually serving them! I mean, What is this? Well, i was about to throw the book down when i saw the title of the next chapter. Using Parent Psychology. I was curious. I read and discovered that if i would obey my parents and say nice things to them (that are sincere) we would have a better relationship and they wouldn't feel pressured to set up so many fences (rules). BRILLIANT! I see now that i am not a very smart child. Now just to clear things up, i will struggle with this old ideology but i will succeed if it means that i get something out of it. And that was a scenario of the wrong attitude to have. OK i guess i will just try it out and report later.

Happy New Year...Oops!

10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1..SCREAMS! Happy New Year! This is how i would have liked it to happen. But no with my luck it had to be something extreme. So here is how it really occurred...We all began the countdown and then screams!! but mine was not of joy but of pain. Right at the stroke of twelve i rolled my ankle! yay what a way to begin the new year. Well I'm sure your all thinking that i quietly spent the rest of the night on a chair being careful with it...nah! after about 5 minuets of waiting i got back up and danced. Am i not smart or what?! Well, about 3 o'clock in the morning i couldn't stand it any longer and resulted to drugs. It was fabulous :)

Well Happy New Year to everyone! And Happy Birthday to my sister, Priscilla! She looked wonderful last night at the dance. The guys were a little intimidated (that is a good thing in my book) and she was beautiful!
By the way, i cut my hair again. It is, once again, a very short haircut. If any of you are thinking, "Oh great! she looks like a guy again" I just want to say that, yes that may be true but i cant help myself! I get in that chair and am so curious as too what i could do with my hair that i just let the stylist do whatever she wants. No judgements please...i just say life's short and then you die. Might as well be gutsy and try new things :)

Lately Ive been thinking about i want to major in and my dad suggested journalism. It actually sounded intriguing until i realized that i would probably be murdered in my bed for stating my opinion TOO bluntly and not being careful about what i say. Then i was thinking about doing the theatre road. That would entail never having a stable income and a guaranteed chaotic life. Lastly there is politics. First off i would probably have to become a liar and that doesn't fly with my dad, or me for that matter. Consequently, I'm at an impasse. But not too fear i still have a little time left! :)
