Dad

Well, my dad is officially not in the bishopric anymore. It was a pretty emotional Sunday watching our former bishopric and new bishopric bear their testimony's. I am so grateful for the time my father has been able to serve i hope that he gets another opportunity someday. It truly is a blessing serving those around you that you love and care for. The sad part is he is no longer the 1st counselor, the good part is we will see him a lot more often. But i think i liked it when he was busy. Personally i think that he loved doing it, contrary to what he says. :) Our new Bishop is a great guy and yes, i did foresee the future and predict that he would be bishop.

Midsummers, Mothers Day, and Mr. S

Mr. S is the secret name for one of my teachers. Its official! He is my favorite! He has the most dry humor and gives me pretty good grades (yes dad i do now have a A- when just a day ago it was a C)

Mothers day was awesome. I actually got my mom something besides a card this year. I bought her a cookie cake at Fred Meyers (it might have been Walmart ). We all ate it in the morning and had hot breakfast with my dad. It was pretty exciting because he is always gone to meetings on Sunday morning so it was nice to have him to ourselves. Baden and Mary came over for dinner with their family and i just have to say that Eliza is the funniest little girl EVER! She would start a story and then right in the middle of a word she would dance away (it was more like running and tripping away) while continuing her story. It was an extremely breathy story. She did this for some time and it was hysterical!
OK, now Midsummer's nights dream is the worst play that i have ever participated in. For example, i was docked points for not telling the whole cast, during a "therapy" session about some deep dark secrets that i have. For one, i don't have many and two i would never share them with people that i don't know! It was really frustrating.
Enough with the bad attitude. I am going to college next year and am sooo grateful! I really need something new. Staying in one place is not healthy for me.

My family is great, crazy, busy, strange and large. Its a blast! and something that you have to experience in order to really understand and appreciate.

Oh and mom had my dad till the garden today. JOY! You know what that means....weeding! hmmm....i will begin formulating my excuses. :)

ACT

Well...i will not be telling any of you what the results were for the ACT. Lets just say that i will be taking it again in June. Happy Day! I guess i am just grateful that i didn't get a worse score. Life is good, family is great...i went on a date Saturday? It was fun. We went to the mall and did some sort of scavenger hunt. The other couple we went with were weird. Oh well, it happens.
Sarah got "fake" fingernails today in honor of the upcoming senior prom. She says she loves them but i told her to just wait...its only a matter of time before her pocket book starts hurting from all the needed fillings. EXPENSIVE! They look really nice but i think that i would become claustrophobic while wearing them. To each their own i say. By the way the book entitled, The Scarlet Letter is my new favorite book. Its like sexy in an Old English type way. Read it.

AP tests

AP season is here!! yay. Actually no not really. This year i will be taking the AP Gov test and possible the AP Lang. I am trying to be positive. :) I have a great teacher (which is extremely helpful) Mr G. or Gilchrist or GILLY!! He is the best! Also, there is this guy in a lot of classes who knows how to hack into the new I-Pad and do stuff to it and other technical devices (i am not sure what yet, i will ask). I think it is really illegal but it was very intriguing. I want to learn more. :) So about the AP tests they are really hard. I am not going to lie. The AP US test didn't go so well...hehe oops. I am planning on doing some serious studying for the AP Gov. Although Government is much easier than AP US test. There is less materials to cover and the content is easier to comprehend. There is also very few dates to remember...which is a bonus.

So i just thought that i would add this picture. I was a crazy director in a play entitled Laughing Stock. It was a lot of fun because i could obviously be crazy.

Birthday, ACT, date, opera house...CRAZY!

Long time no talk. My life has been amazingly crazy. I made it into another play. Midsummer's Night Dream. That will be interesting. I had my 17th birthday on conference weekend and on Easter. It was a very spiritual day! I pretended that the prophet was waving happy birthday to me at the end. My dad says that its all in my head...and it very well might be. I received a lot of books for my birthday and am enjoying reading them. Also, Yesterday i went on a date to the opera house. We say Little House on the Prairie. The Ma was Melissa Gilbert. They all did a great job but my favorite part was the boy i went with. His name is Makade Claypool and he is the most sweetest, strongest, amazing guys i know. We both hung out right by the orchestra pit and talked and talked. Hes a different guy...He plays football (varsity) and yet it was just in a musical called Brigadoon. He was Mr. Lundie and he totally reminded me of my grandpa. We talked about what we want to be someday and he wants to be some neurosurgeon thingy. Once he told me that i clarified that i am going to marry him. We also went with his parents and they are SO MUCH FUN! It was a fabulous date and i am so grateful for good priesthood holders that actually take girls out on dates instead of saying, "hey aaahhh do you want to ahh hang out?" Sorry boys, thats what you sound like.

Ok, so i took the ACT today. Here is the low down. I got home at around 11:30 last night from the most amazing date ever. (this was completely against the ACT booklets suggestions..."get a good nights sleep and eat lots of breakfast..." NOPE not me!I think i ate an old piece of pizza for breakfast. I went with some of my friends to Ferris High School. Let me just say that at CV we are very privileged. That school was a dump. I froze throughout the test. The reading and writing went excellent. I knew all the answers and i felt like it was easy. The math? not so much. It was a lot more difficult than i thought and i had to guess in a lot of the questions. Dont get my started on the science. I pretty much just gave up reading all the scenarios. I looked at the question and said, "that seems logical" and then marked it. In the end, i am grateful that it is over with and i am very grateful that i can take it again! Also, i am thinking about taking the SAT because i very much so dislike science and i stink at it.

Fords B-Day

Happy Birthday Ford! Ok, so its late but still it counts. For his birthday he had a friend over and we had a bomb fire in the back! It was very exciting and the little boys loved it. Then this same boy stayed the night. Whats odd is that when they played together i couldn't hear a thing, unlike girls..."OMG! So Guess What Happened Today!!!!" They speak in exclamation points! So, happy birthday Ford. You are the best brother ever, and i appreciate everything you do for me.

The rest of the family is good. Our carpets were cleaned today. That was very exciting because i was able to dance around the carpet while it was wet and feel the soap and water residue seep through my socks. Great experience, i highly recommend it.

I have decided to attend Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC). They specialize in the arts and law, therefore i am interested and have begun the admissions process. I have a friend that will be going along with me. She has a car!!! YES! Truly? i love cars...especially when I'm not paying for them :) (i will be paying for some of the gas)

Life is very busy and for that i am grateful. Its much better than sitting around!

Modern dance

OK so first things first. SARAH MADE IT INTO BYU-I! Now let me educate you. BYU-I is the best church school to attend (if you are going to attend one) because you do not become a #. I would rather die then be just my social security # to my professors. And the dorms stink (i lived in them for a week and a half). Do you know what school i am referring to? PROVO! yes, that place that has become so stuck up so high and mighty. I must say that i am very disgusted. Anyways Sarah is very excited and i am glad that she took my advice and decided to go to Idaho because that is the lords place. Not Provo.

This modern dancing class that i am involved in is great. Although it is work. I don't like work. Maybe that's why my dad says that this will be good for me. Its getting me into shape and i must say that at the moment...i suck. I am not graceful and cannot do these massive jumps and then twirl and then (in some way) land on the floor WHILE looking graceful. If you are saying, "oh that doesn't sound hard" well then...YOU try it and tell me how you feel afterwords. ha!

I have been asked to do a Senior modeling shoot for Infinity Photography. Cross your fingers everyone this could get scary.

Everyone is doing great at the moment. My dad is still on the hating scale. Today he is a 4 because he didn't yell at me when i scampered out to go to dance even though i had completely ditched school today. I HAD CRAMPS. its happens OK?

Hawaii

IM BACK! OMGoodness. That was the craziest time of my life. (and that would be the actress in me coming out) OK so the plane rides were terrible. If any of you doubt me then you just try taking 9 kids and 2 paranoid parents around the Portland, Salt Lake, LA airports and have a peaceful, joyous time. The best time was when mom drugged the little kids. This also happened to my cousin, Mckenna. My father drugged her on the plane ride back from Hawaii. :) Also, you know when you can feel people grumbling about you behind your back? yes well i perfected giving evil glares targeted at old people who should been mature enough to keep their mouths shut. By the way i have decided that marrying a pilot is the best course of action for me. They are extremely intelligent and have the coolest job ever. They also have a lot of responsibility. The only problem was that they are all old. Oh well a girl can dream.

Hawaii. So here is what happens. You sweat all night in your condo that has a broken AC unit and then you wake up and eat breakfast in chaos AND THEN you go sun tanning and try to tune out your nagging mother that wants you to go sight seeing. Nah! I was all about getting a tan even though you had to keep your eyes closed when you are around the pool otherwise you are in for some ugly pictures. Let me explain. You see, Hawaii (especially the big island) is where snow birds like to go. Old people who think their rotting bodies cant stand the winter. Yes them. They come to the condos and sit around the pool all day and enjoy the sun. I don't have anything against them doing this but i really must insist that the old hairy guys KEEP THEIR SHIRTS ON! Can you say nasty?
Snorkeling was great! Although when one has a well functioning imagination like me it can be scary because i was always thinking that a shark was going to swim up and bite my legs of. Its didn't happen but who knows if i had stayed in the water a moment longer....:) We went on the snorkeling cruise to Captain Cooks Cove. It was beautiful. And the captain looked like George Clooney, which was a bonus. Well, on the way back we saw so many whales. I swear! it had to be mating season because the dude whales where hitting the tales against the water like crazy waiting for the girls to see. Showoffs. We got about 20 feet away from this huge guy that was giving us quite a show. WOW! its was soo much better than any whale watching boat could have done. The captain said that that was one of the best whales shows he had ever seen. All in all it was worth all the money i could have spent on stuff.
It was a great trip and worth it. I recommend it. I have many other stories but my hands are tired and i have to go. Thanks :)

School...Ug!

And yes, i did just type Ug! Well considering that my family and i are venturing into the unknown wilderness of Hawaii for 2+ weeks, i figured i might want to get some school work done before hand. I take that back! i wish i didn't have any school work to accomplish now. I am human so i have to right to complain for a second. A STACK! of worksheets from Spanish. A project in LA, Multiple take home tests from Govt and more and several more packets from another class (forgot its name). Oh well. I will get over it.

I had a funny conversation with a friend of mine today. We were talking about our newly developed blogs and she told me that she was going to read mine. Obviously i got all excited! Well, before i begin this next bit you need to understand something about her. She and i don't always see eye to eye on political issues and others. Its a lot of fun in our Govt class but I'm not usually as blunt there as i am and will be in this blog. So...after all the excitement came i realized that i was going to have to block her from this blog. Yes it is terrible, but action needs to be taken. Consequently, i have not blocked her and cannot wait to hear what she has to say. :)

I am reading this book that is completely against my character. It is entitled, The Art of Raising Parents. Its a short read and very funny but it talks about being a better child for your parents and cutting them some slack and actually serving them! I mean, What is this? Well, i was about to throw the book down when i saw the title of the next chapter. Using Parent Psychology. I was curious. I read and discovered that if i would obey my parents and say nice things to them (that are sincere) we would have a better relationship and they wouldn't feel pressured to set up so many fences (rules). BRILLIANT! I see now that i am not a very smart child. Now just to clear things up, i will struggle with this old ideology but i will succeed if it means that i get something out of it. And that was a scenario of the wrong attitude to have. OK i guess i will just try it out and report later.

Happy New Year...Oops!

10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1..SCREAMS! Happy New Year! This is how i would have liked it to happen. But no with my luck it had to be something extreme. So here is how it really occurred...We all began the countdown and then screams!! but mine was not of joy but of pain. Right at the stroke of twelve i rolled my ankle! yay what a way to begin the new year. Well I'm sure your all thinking that i quietly spent the rest of the night on a chair being careful with it...nah! after about 5 minuets of waiting i got back up and danced. Am i not smart or what?! Well, about 3 o'clock in the morning i couldn't stand it any longer and resulted to drugs. It was fabulous :)

Well Happy New Year to everyone! And Happy Birthday to my sister, Priscilla! She looked wonderful last night at the dance. The guys were a little intimidated (that is a good thing in my book) and she was beautiful!
By the way, i cut my hair again. It is, once again, a very short haircut. If any of you are thinking, "Oh great! she looks like a guy again" I just want to say that, yes that may be true but i cant help myself! I get in that chair and am so curious as too what i could do with my hair that i just let the stylist do whatever she wants. No judgements please...i just say life's short and then you die. Might as well be gutsy and try new things :)

Lately Ive been thinking about i want to major in and my dad suggested journalism. It actually sounded intriguing until i realized that i would probably be murdered in my bed for stating my opinion TOO bluntly and not being careful about what i say. Then i was thinking about doing the theatre road. That would entail never having a stable income and a guaranteed chaotic life. Lastly there is politics. First off i would probably have to become a liar and that doesn't fly with my dad, or me for that matter. Consequently, I'm at an impasse. But not too fear i still have a little time left! :)
